Goa is well-said the “Tourist Paradise” of India. It lies on the Indian western coast and is famous for its churches, old houses and more significantly its beaches. According to the Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Parshuram and incarnation of Lord Vishnu created the beautiful city of Goa. If we look into the history of this Indian state, Goa has been ruled by various dynasties- Rashtrakutas, Kadambas, Silaharas, Chalukyas, Brahmani Muslims and by Portuguese, the traces of which can be seen in its architecture and culture. Panaji or Panjim is the capital of the state and other important towns of Goa are Vasco, Margao, Mapusa and Ponda. While staying in Goa, you can have the pleasure to enjoy some delicious seafood like prawns, mackerels, sardines, crabs and lobsters. However, the cuisine has the influence of the Portuguese.
The main time to visit Goa is in between late September and early March. International as well as domestic tourists flock the city during this time only. Goa becomes very pleasant to visit during this time. Even during the monsoons Goa becomes natural beautiful.
